In a press release last week, HP have announced the appointment of two new company Presidents for both its Americas and Asia Pacific divisions.
The new management moves stem from the upcoming retirement of Stephen Nigro, former President of 3D Printing and Digital Manufacturing.
New Leadership Teams at HP
With this role now filled by Christoph Schell, HP have placed Richard Bailey at the helm of their Americas division. Bailey, an employee with the company for over 10 years, has also held management roles in the Asia Pacific division of the company. He was recently the Asia Pacific region President, a role which has also been filled as part of the leadership reshuffle.
Taking the reins of HP President for the Asia Pacific region is Tian Chong Ng. Tian Chong Ng will be responsible for the divisions go-to-market strategy. Along with this, he will administrate and monitor the overall financial performance for the Asia Pacific business, charting across their products, markets and other services.
Announcement of Q4 & Fiscal Year Earnings for 2018
Following these leadership changes was a press release by the computing giant posted on their website earlier this month. The company have announced that they will be hosting a live audio webcast of their yearly conference call. The event will review and further discuss their financial results for both Q4 and for the fiscal year ending October 31st 2018. It will be streamed via a webcast available via their website on Thursday 29th of November. A replay will be made available shortly after the conference concludes.
In terms of overall fiscal year results, it is speculated that HP Inc. and HP Enterprise could end the current fiscal year with an overall revenue growth of around 3%, taking them to nearly $31 billion (approx. £27 billion) for the year. This growth could be attributed to the upcoming launch of their Spectre Folio laptop and their recent acquisition of Apogee Corporation along with further advancements through their 3D printing division.
